What do you wear for engagement photos?

I was stunned by this picture of a bride who choose to wear a gorgeous emerald green gown. Everything about it is fabulous — color, style, length, cut. Because of her choice, she is {and likely feels} stunning, making this photo remarkable. Far more impressive than the typical jeans and matching white shirts.

So what are your attire options for engagement photos? Keep to clothing that makes you feel comfortable and that you are excited to wear. I love eye-catching colors and dresses, so one of my formal gowns would likely make the cut. I love black tie affairs and would be thrilled to wear one of my favorite dresses for a foyer-worthy photo.

For other options, think about what you wear for a special occasion with your fiance and consider making a day out of your engagement photos. After your session, go to dinner, the theater, or out for drinks. It will give you a fun memory to associate with the beautiful prints.

If you plan to be in the leaves, don’t forget your Solemates!
